What happens after you request a reset
Three Little Birds sends a one-time reset link to the email address on your founder account. The link is valid for exactly 30 minutes and can be used a single time — once you set a new password, the link expires immediately so no one else can reuse it. We never send your existing password over email; we only send a link that lets you set a fresh one.
Pick a passphrase of four random words or a mix of 12+ characters with a symbol. Long beats complex — a 16-character passphrase is dramatically harder to crack than an 8-character one with punctuation.
Didn't reset in time? No problem — request another link from this page. Older links are invalidated automatically as soon as we mint a new one, so only the most recent email is usable.
Check your spam / promotions folder for a message from no-reply@threelilbrds.com. If it still hasn't arrived after a few minutes, confirm the email you used to sign up — many founders sign up with a work address and forget which mailbox to check.
Your Three Little Birds account guards your entire business planning workspace — AI-drafted business plan, plan-vs-actual budget, Kanban roadmap, CRM pipeline, grants matches, compliance tracker and any lender-ready PDF exports you've generated. Resetting your password does not touch any of that data; it only rotates the credential you use to sign in.
If you believe someone else may have accessed your account, reset your password first, then contact support@threelilbrds.com so we can review recent sign-in activity together and, if needed, invalidate any active sessions across other devices.
One last thing worth knowing: password reset does not sign you out of every device you're still logged into. If you're rotating your credential because you suspect account compromise, sign in on your primary device first and use the Account settings page to revoke sessions everywhere else in one tap — that's the fastest way to lock out an intruder without waiting for old sessions to expire on their own.
